Today's one of the first actual summery days we've had so far and I'm taking full advantage of it by lounging like a motherfucker by the pool, doin' my nails n' shit. I have 4 days off which I am quite pleased about and intend to indulge in them wholeheartedly.

I just remembered that we saw Washed Out a couple weeks ago. It was magnificent. Memories and feelings keep coming back to me sporadically, enveloping me in nostalgic bliss. It's good for the most part.

I'm making split-pea soup right now after being inspired by a split-pea soup coloured Arbutus tree I saw on my hike today. It's my favourite colour I think.
