So like, sorry for my lack of posts but I've been like, totally moving into

this fantastic loft, and like, we don't have internet yet, so like, I've

been super nonexistent on the interweb which I know is totally dismal but I do

believe this video will make up for lost time.

Lucy Chadwick x The Selby x Zara

Todd Selby shot this little film for Zara featuring Lucy Chadwick.
Things I really enjoyed about this was her adorable british accent, her amazing

 apartment (did you see her coffee pot??) and when she is buying groceries from the farmers market.

 I own The Selby book and know its pages by heart, and I am in love with the recent photographs

 he took of Hitoshi Uchida-san and his family.

I just spent the last week on break from University, I worked a lot and spent time with

people I hadn't seen in a while. More or less excited to be back in school, I just need to do more art!

I attended my first album club meeting a couple weeks ago, which was a great enjoyment and success. The idea of album club is to get together and share with one another our chosen album, it can be fromany era or genre, as long as each member of album club takes a moment to enjoy it.

 Then we return a week or two later, and discuss it. What our personal experiences were, how it resonated with us, etcetera. So far we have listened to Shabazz Palaces, Grimes, and Busta Rhymes. Above are images I took when we were spending time at 'the girls' place.

sometimes i forget

Quality, I consider to be something very important to me. It comes up everywhere I go.

In the grocery store while I am buying vegetables (organic and unbruised preferred).

 When I am finalizing a material purchase (designer, material, pattern).

When I am creating a piece of art work or when I sleep.

Ferry reminds us of these simple qualities in everyday life in a series of mundane

 photographs, they seem to have tastes, smells and feelings within each one.

This morning I did the following, 

• Woke up early and laid in my bed of fresh sheets and listened to twin sister.

• Had a warm shower, to wake up my body.

• Made my first perfectly rationed french press of coffee (yum)

 with almond milk and a large spoon of  honey, to wake up my mind.

I also have been dreaming (heavily) on visiting my brother in Nicaragua.

 This winter is getting to me, but my midterms are almost finished and

 I am planning to get out of the city for reading week and relaxing.

As B stated below me, we ain't the ones to buy a box of 

chocolates for our Valentines, though we may buy them tomorrow when they're 

50% off. I did make some delicious rose icecream from scratch last night,

which unintentionally turns out to be very suiting for today.

Boy

Michelle Williams modelled for the Band of Outsiders S/S lookbook and the results

 were incredible. Michelle's character subtly reminds of Mia Farrows in Rosemary's

Baby, with her short hair, curiosity, and adventure. Documented in polaroids, it gives

Los Angeles a dreamy allure. I really can't get over the one where she is digging

up Hitchcocks grave(!), it might be my favourite.
