At first, Jana and I were unfazed by the cold as we wandered abstractly up the mountain.
Passing people walking their dogs and sharing generous swigs out of a cheap bottle of wine, we were happy to be out in the woods again. We clambered up into a tree and there we sat, eating brie and baguette, reminiscing on summer. Not too long after becoming comfortable, we realized we were extremely cold and stumbled down from our perch as fast as we could.
We warmed up by watching a film in my bed and drinking gourmet homemade hot cocoa.
